Wake Up Your Senses!

What better than talking about a new beginning, and who better to make it happen than yourself? Should have published this on new year's eve, but I was busy making preparations to spend the evening with my cousin. To be honest, I didn't have any plans to celebrate this new year. 2010 was quite a tough year for me, as for a lot of people out there. My "very good" friends left the city to spend quality time with their gals and I had absolutely no intentions of celebrating the new year. Then my cousin called and I suddenly felt the need to change my mindset and may be to not enter the new year without doing anything. "Awaken your senses once again, re-live the careless moments, ignite your inner spark and let the good times roll" - this is what I had in store for 2011 now.

I will not make this post unnecessarily long, but I will surely talk about one thing - There is no harm in walking the path alone, as long as you have faith in yourself. The moment you lose faith in yourself stop and think with a cool mind, may be you are missing an important point or a purpose. But if you are certain that you are being true to yourself, don't look back! Always welcome change with wide arms. Change is certain, live to love it! I guess I have made my point - wish all of you a very happy new year!

By the way, instead of welcoming the new year with the "King of Good Times", this is what my cousin and I prepared to make things spicier and much healthier :)

  1. Looks yummy! :-) And I agree with what you said about change.. it is certain and it is necessary. The world and people around us change constantly.. we are put in new situations everyday. And unless we are willing to change we won't be able to adapt and cope with life. I think the biggest challenge for me is to change/grow my outlook. I believe no one else can stop us from improving, becoming what we want to be except ourselves. Welcome change - specially in the thought process - that's what matters. That's what breaks or makes you. And this year I am trying to change my attitude - that I am the only one in-charge of my life :-)

Your post gives me some inspiration to not do what I am doing everyday, now a days. Life is all about embracing the change, right?

And, I love the new blog template!
